The Mauthe Maksim stands for simple elegance, modern design and minimalist craftsmanship in perfection. The plates of this clock were painstakingly ground by hand and polished on the edges. Their noble mate surface with a finely ground structure is also the result of precise manual work. The front plate, combined with a ring of numbers, allows a clear view of the essential, the glamorous movement. All of the watch's hour indicators have been machine-engraved and hand-polished, as have the screws that hold them in place.

Forty years after Mauthe stopped producing clocks in the mid-1970s, Bernd Mauthe revitalized the traditional brand with his watch manufactory and continued the success of the traditional company. Mauthe time & clock Manufaktur GmbH uses state-of-the-art technology to produce ticking works of art in a small factory in the Swabian Jura according to centuries-old craftsmanship. Mauthe stands for passionate enthusiasm and the highest precision, so that the customer is offered the best in watchmaking art. As a special feature, this manufactory manufactures a precision timepiece with a case that has been shaped in a goldsmith's workshop into a masterpiece. Mauthe time & clock Manufaktur GmbH is a clock manufacturer. That says a lot about the way clocks are made in our company. Instead of mass production, we rely on traditional handicrafts, attention to detail and, in many work steps, the finest craftsmanship. Our drive is nothing less than to achieve exactly the perfect result that the customer had in mind at the end of a manufacturing process that often lasts hundreds of hours. We do not make any compromises - neither in the material nor in the processing. The outstanding skills of our manufactory include perfect engravings, the finest enameling and high-quality goldsmith work. Only as few parts as necessary for the production of a Mauthe watch are purchased. And these must absolutely meet the high requirements of our quality standards.
