This is a blue and white Mother's Day 1978 collector plate made by Bing and Grondahl, Denmark featuring a Grebe family of water birds consisting of a mother and chicks or baby birds.
The porcelain plate measures 6 inches in diameter and is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear.
I love the blue and white, and what a sweet design!
